Chino laughed as he took out his phone.

“What you doing? Who you calling?” I asked curiously.

“The clinic, I’m making an appointment,” He said, pressing the prompts into the phone.

I sat up and laughed as I hit him with a pillow.

“Tell me what’s up with that detective last night?” He asked.

“Shit. Something I’m about to handle right now, I’ll see you later.” I said, hopping out of the bed, going into the bathroom to shower quickly and head out the door.
